This plastic pumpkin came from Michael's, a craft store.  The metallic foil adhesive paper is a Cricut Brand and the pattern is from Cricut Design Space.  Lots of weeding!!!

My Daughter's Baby Shower for Autumn

These are items I made for my daughter's baby shower.  These colors go with the nursery, teal, peachy, taffy, grey.  I made the rosettes using the Martha Stewart scoring board.  I used hot glue to assemble them on a backer board.
The pennant is from Cricut design space.

I cut these shapes out from Cricut Design Space, also.  On these little shapes we were to write the baby's middle name.  My daughter and son-in-law haven't found a middle name yet.  So they were taking suggestions from all the guests.  Some names were silly and others were family names.  We had so much fun!

Liberty Bear

I made this bear from one of the cartridges from Cricut.  She is 3' tall.  Throughout the school year she has held different signs for different historical holidays.  I enjoy making items from Cricut Design Space, larger than life.  There are several YouTube videos that give instructions on enlarging items.  I love my Cricut Explore.

Mummy and School

We are having a dance at school for Pre-K to 3rd grade sons and their mummies.  Here is a mummy I made using Cricut Design Space, various papers, and my Cricut Explore. The mummy stands about 2 1/2 feet tall.  We will use this for decorations for our Mommy and Son Dance. I did a search for mummy and there were a few that were available.  This one had several layers.
I followed the directions from the Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space on Face Book. There are several files with instructions for many ideas. There are other videos on Google on how to enlarge an image using Design Space.

Thank You Cards

Here are some landscape and portrait cards. I made several Thank-You Cards using basic shapes in Design Space with my Cricut Explore.  Several of the shapes attached to the bases of these cards were from Close to My Heart Artistry Cartridge.  I also used the Cuttlebug for some dimension to the cards.  These cards were very quickly assembled after using design space.  I used a soft color pallet of blues, pinks, and greens, just pastels on a basic white base.  The blue stamp is from Close to My Heart and ink also, Pacific, I think. The word THANKS is written with a .03 Tip Black Cricut pen.  I'm very pleased with the quality of writing that the Explore does. Some of the sentiments are on pop dots to add even more dimension.  Fun, Fast and easy.

Loss of a friend

A precious friend passed away this past week.  Here is my card for the family.

I used Anna's Flourish Cards and Embellishments in Design Studio from Cricut.  The card measures approximately 5 X 7.  I used Close to My Heart papers, with the Damask Close To My Heart embossing folder.  The sentiment is written with the Cricut explore using their .03 black pen.  This was attached to the medallion, in Design Space, that was also from the same Anna's Cartridge.  I really like the cartridge.
